Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The majority of my students are English Language Learners and come from impoverished families. All of them are currently using a device to complete their online learning assignments. The platform that we use is Google Classroom and they primarily work on assignments using Google Slides and Google Documents.

My Project

The items listed in this project are all intended to open my students' minds to the world around them. I want them to value the importance of diversity and be open to people who come from different cultures. Children learn best through play. The multi-ethnic block play people will give my students a hands on opportunity to become comfortable with people of various cultures. The children of the world book set will not only give students' text to hold but also teach them about the everyday lives of children around the globe.
