Building a Virtual Classroom

My Students

Our school is located in a fast growing community with families of all socioeconomic levels.

My students are like little sponges soaking up everything they see, hear and do.

They are digital learning students this year. Learning online is a new experience for all of us and they have become experts navigating our online classroom and participating in all of our lessons, assignments and activities. They also love to read and listen to stories.

Our class is a combination of students from two schools. They care about one another and helping each other comes easy. During our Zoom meetings they love to share tips they have discovered while working in a digital classroom. Because of this, everyone knows they have a friend. They work well together and are a great team. They are amazing!

My Project

Making the transition from an in person teacher to a virtual teacher is difficult without the necessary equipment. However, with the right tools, the transformation can be easy.

The equipment will enable me to record live lessons and integrate a myriad of meaningful, and virtual educational experiences.

In a school teachers are given a standard laptop. Working daily on a small laptop, is physically exhausting. The items I am asking for will help relieve physical stress and exhaustion and enable me to be at my best for students all day.
