Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help make our classroom more welcoming, useful, and fun. A place where my students feel safe, seen, and ready to learn.

With your support, we’re hoping to get:

A MacBook Air to help create visual supports, run assistive tech, manage IEPs, and bring interactive learning tools to my students in ways that fit their needs.

Black printer ink so I can print personalized learning materials, behavior charts, and communication boards that are super important for my non-verbal and early readers.

A new classroom rug where we can gather for morning meetings and circle time—a clean, cozy spot to build community. Our current rug is pretty worn out and has become more of a distraction than a useful space for learning.

Headphones to help students focus during independent work, especially when using programs like iReady or Amira that help them build key reading skills at their level.

Clipboards that let my students move around and work in different spots, which helps with their sensory and movement needs while they learn.

By donating to our project you’ll be helping my students get personalized learning, help kids focus, feel confident, and work on their own, and make the classroom a more welcoming and respectful place for everyone.

Many of my students have to work twice as hard just to keep up with the world around them. Every little bit helps. With your support, we can fill our classroom with the tools they deserve.
