My Project

I teach a group of energetic and curious learners who genuinely enjoy doing math activities. One of the things that brings me the greatest joy as a teacher is seeing my students confidently walk to the front of the classroom to share their thinking and problem-solving strategies. It’s in those moments—when their eyes light up with understanding—that I am reminded of why I love what I do.

When my students are engaged, they are focused, motivated, and more likely to reach the learning objectives we set each day.

The sense of accomplishment they feel after solving a problem or completing a challenging task gives them pride in themselves and a deeper appreciation for learning. They become more confident, more curious, and more willing to take on new challenges.

However, creating a classroom where every student can thrive requires the right tools. The materials I’ve requested are carefully selected to enhance the way I teach and the way my students learn. For example, the iPad would allow me to create more personalized learning experiences, especially for students who need additional support or differentiated instruction. With access to educational apps and visual resources, I can offer diverse and dynamic lessons that reach every learner.

Managing a large class is both rewarding and challenging. An electric hole puncher may seem like a small item, but it can make a big difference in organizing materials quickly and efficiently, helping us make the most of our instructional time. And the basic supplies—pencils and erasers—are always in demand. Many students come to class without them, and being able to provide these essentials means that no child has to feel left out or unprepared.

My ultimate goal is to provide a learning environment where all students feel empowered, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
