My Project
I currently work as an educational assistant in a self-contained special education classroom for grades 6-8. I will finish my degree over the Summer and have my own classroom by August or December. The items on this list will be used for our current students/classroom as well as my future classroom.
Students learn best in a well-organized and welcoming classroom where they are comfortable and given learning materials that accommodate their specific needs.
I am asking for items such as scissors, laminate sheets, a binding machine, printer ink, markers, clay, and other misc. materials to assist in making differentiated learning materials to meet each student's academic and social level. I am also asking for a classroom rug to help give our classroom a more welcoming feeling.
