My crew is a set of amazing students at our growing school on the city's east side. They are active learners who take in everything around them. This crew is pushed to reach high expectations and they excel each and every day. Our crew exemplifies our habits of character: responsibility, cooperation, compassion, integrity, perseverance, curiosity and creativity through their learning and actions.

My Project
This project is to help us build a STEAM library in our growing school. Students are encouraged and celebrated for showing curiosity. As we begin to incorporate more STEAM lessons and activities into our school day, we need a library of resources to encourage this thinking.
As Thomas Edison said, "I have not failed.
I've just found 10,000 ways that don't work." Our students are encouraged to create multiple drafts and try things more than once to grow and learn from their work. Being able to do this through STEAM topics will encourage and excite our students to not give up and work to preserve.
