This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a second-year special education teacher, I am dedicated to providing my students with a structured, engaging, and well-equipped learning environment. However, I am currently teaching in a temporary classroom with limited resources, making it challenging to meet my students' diverse needs effectively. The materials I am requesting—such as classroom furniture, organizational tools, sensory supports, and academic resources—will create a safe and welcoming space where my students can focus, feel comfortable, and engage in meaningful learning. These items will help improve organization, foster independence, and provide the tools necessary for specialized academic instruction.

My students are incredible individuals with unique strengths and challenges.

They work hard every day to overcome obstacles in their learning, and with the right environment and resources, they can thrive. My goal is to build a classroom that meets their needs, supports their growth, and empowers them to reach their full potential.
