Building a Safe and Supportive Space for Students

Help me give my students iPads, a MacBook Pro, and an assortment of games to have access to social-emotional support through games, fidgets, and technology, fostering regulation, collaboration, and inclusivity.

My Project

I love that my students are resilient, creative, and eager to grow. They thrive when given opportunities to engage in a supportive environment that meets their social-emotional needs.

The games, fidgets, and technology in this project will provide essential tools for self-regulation, stress relief, and positive social interactions.

These resources will help students develop emotional awareness, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities—key components of a strong social-emotional foundation.

My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space outside the classroom where students can take a break, reset, and connect with peers. By implementing a staff sign-out system, I’ll ensure that all students have equitable access to these resources when they need them most.

What makes my students special is their diversity and determination. They come from different backgrounds, but they all deserve a space where they feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. This project will help make that possible.
