This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year high school multimedia teacher, I’m building my classroom from the ground up with the goal of creating a calming and supportive environment where students feel safe, valued, and equipped to succeed. My students are incredibly creative and resilient, coming from diverse backgrounds and overcoming challenges every day. They have so much potential, and I want to provide them with the tools and resources they need to thrive.

The items I’m requesting—basic classroom supplies like organizers, markers, and decorations—may seem simple, but they will make a profound difference.

These tools will help foster a sense of order, belonging, and creativity in our space. When students walk into a well-supplied and welcoming classroom, they can focus on their learning and let their talents shine.

My goal is to create a space where every student feels supported and inspired to explore their interests, express themselves, and build the skills they need for a successful future. Your support will help me create this foundation and ensure my students have a classroom that meets their needs. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their educational journey.
