This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Special needs students have a hard time with fine motor skills that are a building blocks for writing, cutting, coloring and gives them a headstart in academic life. With the use of this station my students will be able to handle the classroom requirements to exit the special needs classroom. They will master visual perception and creativity with visiting this station on a daily rotation. They will be able to transfer those skills to paper and pencil tasks.
The students in my current room have multiple disabilities which require special equipment and this station will make their social and acdemic environment similar to a regualar classroom.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
