Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students thrive when they’re given the opportunity to create, explore, and express themselves and as a music teacher, I am blessed to bring these opportunities to my students. I’m working to build an engaging, hands-on classroom environment where both musical and academic creativity can flourish.

This project brings together Orff-inspired instruments that spark curiosity and encourage students to experiment with sound and rhythm.

These unique instruments help students of all abilities participate fully in music-making and support our goals of improvisation, collaboration, and joyful expression.

In addition to our music goals, we also need basic classroom supplies like markers, magnetic dry erase cards for group work, Lysol wipes to keep our learning space healthy, and clarinet reeds to support our young wind musicians. These essentials keep our learning environment clean, organized, and fully equipped for success.

With your support, my students will gain not only the tools they need to make music, but also the resources to stay engaged and empowered in every part of their learning day.
