Building a Magnetic City for Learning

Help me give my students the opportunity to become their very own engineer by building with magnetic tiles!

My Project

This project will help my students to become creative learners through building. My students love to build with blocks and create cityscapes, vehicles, and various structures. The use of magnetic blocks will heighten their experience in the classroom. These magnetic pieces will allow for them to build in ways they are unable to with regular wooden blocks.

My goal for this project is to promote creativity, engagement, and collaboration among peers.

My students are four and five years old and are learning the basic skills of turn taking, sharing and collaborating. These magnetic blocks allow for each student to feel confident in their building and ideas, as well as, sharing their ideas and taking turns. With your help, my students will be able to understand the importance of creativity, collaborating, and being proud of work done in a team!
