Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m seeking support to build a rich library of novels that align with our themed read-alouds—stories that spark imagination, deepen empathy, and encourage thoughtful conversations. These novels will not only strengthen students’ reading skills, but will also allow them to engage with important themes like friendship, courage, identity, and social justice.
Every child deserves the chance to see themselves in a story—and to learn about the world beyond their own through the pages of a book.
In our classroom, reading isn’t just a subject; it’s the heartbeat of how we connect, grow, and learn together.
