My Project
As a teacher moving to Kindergarten for the first time, I’m building our classroom library from the ground up.
I want to create a space filled with engaging, developmentally appropriate books that will help my students develop early reading skills and fall in love with reading.
I’m requesting a variety of Kindergarten-level books that are colorful, fun, and supportive of early literacy. These include leveled readers, sight word books, and stories with repetitive text to help build confidence and fluency.
These books will be used daily for independent reading, small groups, and read-alouds. With your help, I can set my young learners up for success and help them become confident, joyful readers.
