Building a Library of Non-Fiction and Biography Books

My Project

Our school district boasts the most diverse student population in our state and is the fifth most diverse district in the country!

It is our mission in the library to make sure that every child sees themselves well-represented on our shelves.

By building our book collection to represent the student population of the school, students will see that they are valued and respected and capable of achieving what they set their minds to. Non-fiction and biography books that reflect the cultures of our families are essential for inspiration and education. Representation matters!
