My Project
Our school district boasts the most diverse student population in our state and is the fifth most diverse district in the country! Our students love learning about each other's celebrations and traditions - and holiday books are so much fun!
It is our mission in the library to make sure that every child sees themselves and their interests well-represented on our shelves.
By building our book collection to represent the student population of the school, students will see that they are valued and respected and capable of achieving what they set their minds to.
A library that represents different cultures and traditions also helps our students connect home to school, and helps students understand each other better - the goal being a more inclusive and caring global community.
