Building a Legacy: Books and Shelves for Our School Library
Help me give my students diverse books and bookshelves to support the creation of a vibrant, student-centered library that promotes literacy, learning, representation, and lifelong reading habits.
Our high school is in the midst of an exciting transformation — we're building a student-centered library that inspires curiosity, supports academic growth, and fosters a lifelong love of reading. To make this dream a reality, we need your help.
We are seeking funding to purchase a diverse selection of books that reflect our students' interests, cultures, and academic needs, along with sturdy, functional bookshelves to house our expanding collection.
Many of our students lack access to a wide variety of books outside of school, and a well-stocked library will provide them with opportunities to explore new ideas, improve literacy skills, and discover new passions. We strive to provide students with access to representative and diverse novels. This project will allow us to continue to do so.
Your support will help create a vibrant, welcoming space where students can read, research, and thrive. Every shelf and every book you help us add is a step toward building a legacy of learning for years to come.
