This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! I will be the dual language 3rd grade teacher at my building this upcoming school year.

Since I was a child I always aspired to become a teacher.

Now that I am creating a safe space for my classroom, I am excited to give my students what they need. Materials like a simple pencil sharpener, white boards to practice math skills, and bean bags to sit on make a difference in any classroom. All students deserve to have access to tools to help them learn or feel safe. Imagine yourself sitting on a comfy bean bag chair, and reading quietly in the reading corner. Or working one-on-one with your teacher at the group table. I am so eager to continue shaping my classroom for my future and current students.

Every little bit counts, and makes a difference. Ultimately, with the stupendous help of these donations, I’ll be able to add great additions for my students.
