My Project
In our English classroom, we read a lot for learning and for pleasure. Over the course of the year, students will read upwards of 4 to 5 books just during independent reading.
I have been fortunate enough to build a classroom library that reflects the interests and identities of my students, however, our bookshelves are well-loved and falling apart.
The library in my classroom is a space that is open to all students in our school community, and it is important that it is organized and easily accessible in order to encourage students to borrow books, so having new bookshelves to house these books is of upmost importance!
