My Students
My students come into kindergarten at all different levels, but at the end of the year they leave my room with the skills they need to be successful in 1st grade.
My students enter their first year of school in my room and providing them the space to learn and grow both academically and individually is a key part of job.
My students are eager learners they love challenge their minds. Being in Hawaii my students learn to be open to meeting new friends and becoming life long learners together.
My Project
My students need STEM materials to help them create a hands on learning environment in the classroom. STEM helps students become engineers and real life problem solvers. These activities will also help my students to create a growth mindset. When they work on these projects they create a plan, design it, and test out their projects. Sometimes the projects don't work as planned and students need to go back and redesign and make improvements on their projects for success.
STEM helps students to become complex thinkers and life long learners while having fun!
They learn to correct their mistakes and try again. These skills are key for Kindergarteners to develop at a young age so they can carry it with them throughout their educational career. STEM has been a successful way to develop logical thinkers while engaging students with fun tasks!
