This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We request three large binders, sheet protectors, and magazine holders to organize our Phonics materials.

Phonics instruction provides children with the essential tools to decode and understand words, laying the foundation for fluent reading and fostering lifelong literacy skills.

Many scholars in my class are not reading at grade level. I provide explicit phonics instruction to help them reach and exceed their reading goals. Our Phonics program requires a lot of materials, including lesson plans and mini books. The binders, sheet protectors, and magazine holders will help us organize our materials and keep them in good shape so we can use them year after year.
