This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Building a Dance Library is a project focused on getting books for my students to use as research or extension activities. One of my objectives in creating a well-rounded dance class is to teach a realistic history of dance. These books will help jumpstart my library so that it meets the needs of the different literacy levels within my population.

My students need to read more, and these books will show them how these dancers overcame adversity to become the famous dancers we know today.

Please help me provide more opportunities for my students to read and meet their needs, especially when technology is not always available for research.
