Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"You are a helper. You are kind." Those are the two sentences that is heard the most in our classroom. In my class we have a class full of kind helpers. What makes these helpers so special is that our class is made up of all military children! Our school is located in the middle of the largest military housing in the nation.

I teach in a 4 year old classroom called Universal Transitional Kindergarten.

In this class we learn through playing! This donation will greatly help our center time and help our kids learn the social skills they need. The bins will help my community of helpers put stuff away and organize our classroom. I am big on teaching helping skills and having the students take responsibility in cleaning our room. It is our community and these resources will help us build the community our military students desperately need.
