Our students are ready and willing to take on the challenges of 21st-century education. They have many diverse styles of learning and need exposure to 21st-century learning resources. They need to collaborate with their peers and lead by example.
We are 95% African-American, 2% Haitian-American, 2% Hispanic, and 1% Caucasian with 94% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
Our school is located in the inner city of Miami, Florida. Although our students are faced with many socio-economic challenges, they seek a high-quality education to become productive citizens.
My Project
My projects is for t-shirts, Cricut accessories like ink pens and vinyl iron-on sheets our for our Building A Community of Digital Designers extracurricular program.
We need t-shirts, pens and vinyl heat-press materials so students can transfer their digital designs onto apparel.
Once our Cricut Air 2 and Easy Press machines arrive, our students can start making and designing projects. The accessories included in this request will help students to bring their ideas to life! Thank you for any donations towards the fulfillment of the resources that will enable our youth to design and create in our afterschool digital design program.
