This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from various backgrounds and are from low income families. My class serves students with a range of disabilities. As an educator, I want to be able to provide them a space in which they can move around and feel comfortable in while learning.

My students need a learning space that will suit their diverse learning needs.

It is important for them to have a comfortable space that will help them grow academically while addressing their academic needs.

My Project

In order for my students to become excellent mathematicians they need a comfortable space to keep them focused for an extended period of time. I would love for my students to have to a comfortable space to sit while they are working independently or with a group of students.

As the year continues, I want the students to be able to learn using the bean bag and comfortable carpet as a learning space.

I would like the students to become independent thinkers and start to do what they know in the classroom and not be distracted because they do not have a comfortable seat to do their work.
