Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at an elementary school where majority of students come from low socio-economic backgrounds.

My students have the great capacity to succeed as long as they are given the opportunity, encouragement, and the proper resources.

Despite the adversities they face, they continue to work hard, grow and to develop as lifelong learners. Their passion for learning always shines.

My Project

Reading is a unique experience. There is nothing better than getting comfy and cozy with a really good book. "Oh, the places you'll go!"

Please help me create an inviting space for all of the wonderful books in our classroom library, so my class will feel encouraged to visit and pick out books to read more often.

I am requesting colorful book bins to help make our classroom library bright, cheerful, and attractive. What a wonderful way for them to fall in love with reading!
