Building a Calmer Environment!

Help me give my students social emotional tools to regulate frustrations in our calm down corner.

My Project

Everyone goes through frustrations, even adults. We find copping mechanisms to center our minds. Students with autism tend to have recognizable toys and books they need to center themselves. MY students love dinosaurs, power rangers the pink one to be exact; and love animal toys. Providing them with what their interested in keeps them focussed, but also is an incentive to work. These toys are some of their favorite things. and books they love to have read to them.

Education is not always work, but meeting them where they can feel comfortable,and build trust.

This can be accomplished by them knowing we see them. When they express joy and tells us what they love!!
