My Project
I’m beginning an exciting new journey teaching a primary autism class, and I’m committed to building a supportive, inclusive classroom from the ground up. My students have a wide range of abilities and needs, so I’m requesting essential supplies such as crayons, markers, and specialized materials to help them learn and grow. Items like Busy Books encourage independent skill-building, while I Can Read phonics books help track fluency and reading development at each child’s level. Sensory items are especially important for children with autism—they help with emotional regulation, focus, and comfort. Visual supports and sensory tools will create a calm, structured environment where every student feels safe, understood, and capable. With your help, I can create a space that nurtures both learning and confidence, and gives these incredible learners the tools they need to succeed every day.
