My Project

Building a classroom library that inspires kids to read is a difficult undertaking. Second grade is a really hard bridge year where students are starting to master their reading skills and want to learn more about the world or connect with characters through shared interests. These materials will really help my students expand their learning and pursue their interests in new ways.

Help me open the world to my students.

These resources are a mixture of non-fiction and fiction books. The non-fiction resources will really help support my student's learning on our Wonder Wednesday Workshop where students can pursue their interests in researching and sharing their learning with others. Many of the fiction resources will help hook some of my more reluctant readers through the theme of sports. Please support my class to open their world to new knowledge.
