Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I currently have 12 students, which are in grades (k, 1st, and 2nd) who are on the spectrum for Autism. Most of my students come from low-income families who oftentimes do not have the needed resources to stimulate and foster learning.

My students are very eager to learn and love to engage in hands-on learning.

Many of my students struggle with fine motor skills and having educational materials in the classroom which foster the use of their hands to build, create, and use their fine motor skills, makes all of the difference.

It helps that the building materials are fun and stimulating as well as useful for allowing them to use their imaginations when building, stacking, and creating as they have fun!
