Building a Better Library, One Book at a Time

Help me give my students several new books for our school library, so they have access to the latest releases to read plus updated charging cables that work with our new iPads.

My Project

Over the past few years, I have worked hard to create a library where my students feel safe and welcome. One of my main goals is to provide my students with a diverse and updated library collection because I truly believe that all of my students are special, and they all deserve to come in and see a book collection that represents them and the world around them.

Books can take you away to magical places or off to whole new worlds that you wouldn't get to experience otherwise.

They can also help show you that you are special and matter, have a voice, and are important. They can show you that others are going through similar things when you have struggles and that you are not alone.

This project will help provide our library with a more diverse collection and some new releases of some of the popular book series that my kids love. It will also provide us with new charging cords for our new iPads. If a student doesn't bring their iPad to school charged, we provide charging carts for them to give their iPad a quick charge. Our system is gradually replacing our iPads with newer ones and those have different charging ports. This means we need to start changing out our charging cords in our carts. This will allow our students to continue to have their iPads ready for school work and to have access to our robust e-book and audiobook collection that we have on Sora.
