Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will bring some Spanish language books to our school library. We have a bilingual Spanish program and more than 60% of our students speak Spanish at home. Spanish books are more expensive than English books and harder to find so we hope to continue to build our Spanish choices throughout the year.

Our students are so excited to browse our Spanish language books in the library and have something that their parents can read to them at home.

These books will go a long way in helping us increase our selection and choices and are based on student requests.
