This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are incredible collaborators who shine when they are learning and creating as a community through crafts. Students will have the opportunity to create their own city in our Ancient Civilizations class after studying Ancient China, Greece, and Rome. We will begin with foam boards and create a landscape using hot glue guns, artificial tress, and moss. This gives students the opportunity to utilize everything they have learned while creating sometime completely new.
However, we need your help - our students need chord-less hot glue guns to create their ideal city.
Chord-less hot glue guns will be a real game changer for our kiddos. They will be able to go back to their teams and create their cities together. This teaches our youth to collaborate with others and become city planners that must be a community space.
