Help me give my students the necessary supplies for participating in our band program. Reeds, neckstraps and cleaning supplies are a major cost for our high needs band program.
I am currently wrapping up my third year of teaching 5-12 band at BCS. During my time, I have seen consistent growth in numbers, solo scores and honors ensemble attendance. My favorite part of my journey with my students thus far is witnessing their love, joy and passion for music blossom. Music has changed our school culture for the better.
Due to our rapidly growing program, we are always in need of more instruments and supplies, such as reeds, neckstraps for saxophonists, mouthpieces and maintenance supplies for our instruments.
Our students are not required to purchase these on their own as we do not want to put finances in the way of learning a musical instrument.
Any donation, big or small is another step towards a child learning the valuable life lessons that come along with finding success on a band instrument!
