My Project
Hi, I am a special education resource room teacher at an urban, public elementary school and my students love Bluey. In our classroom we have a secondhand Bluey dollhouse which is an absolute favorite toy during social skills groups and free choice playtime. Sadly, we don’t have very many characters to play with and of all things Bluey herself is missing from the set!
My goal is to build on my students’ love of Bluey to enhance social skills instruction.
Coached cooperative play, practicing scenarios with puppets, and playing in a sensory bin are all great activities for building kids social skills that we are already doing in our classroom. I want to add more Bluey into those activities to make them more exciting and fresh.
