Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These centers will be stocked with tools such as leveled readers, word-building games, phonemic awareness activities, writing prompts, and comprehension kits tailored to various learning levels. They’ll allow students to work independently or in small groups, while giving me the ability to differentiate instruction and better meet the individual needs of each child. My students are the heart of everything I do. They come to school each day full of energy, curiosity, and hope, even when life outside the classroom isn’t easy. I love how they support each other, how excited they get when they learn a new word, and how determined they are to grow. They inspire me with their resilience, creativity, and joy—and they remind me every day why teaching is the most important work in the world.
