Many of them gasped and said things like, \"Wow, these are for us?\" They immediately wanted to explore the colorful tools and started asking if they could use them right away. For some of my students, this was their first time working with real math manipulatives, so it felt like a big celebration in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWhat are the next steps for your students?\r\nNext, we're diving into subtraction and story problems. Students will use the manipulatives to model real-world math scenarios, like sharing snacks or counting classroom items.
