My Students

My students are truly a joy to teach. They come from a variety of backgrounds. However, they do have one thing in common, the desire to learn.

Some of my students come to school with financial challenges that prevent them from having the necessary supplies and experiences.

This does not “dull” their desire to be successful. These students are my inspiration. My goal is to supplement the supplies they need so that every student is equal when they walk into my classroom.

My Project

Inspiring students to read nonfiction books is a daily challenge. These books will encourage them to dig deeper into the world of nonfiction while learning about some great Americans.

By building a nonfiction library filled with these books, I hope my students are inspired to read.

When a student reads nonfiction, their comprehension soars. These books will engage my students, and inspire my students while building their comprehension without them even knowing it.

A love of reading must be installed in students early. These books will give me the opportunity to put my students on the track of loving to read.
