Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school has made tremendous gains over the past twelve years, moving from one of the lowest-performing schools in the area to achieving the honor of being named a California Distinguished School!

We are an example of a community of students, teachers, parents, and staff all working together for academic achievement.

Our hope is that many of our students will be the first generation in their families to go to college!

The majority of my students are English language learners (ELLs) whose families are newcomers to America. They are highly motivated to learn and prosper.

My Project

If my students were to have a working printer in our classroom, they would be able to print their Google documents, print graphics/images for projects, and print Google slides for their research projects. Our class printer broke down, so we currently have to save our work. We can't print it. We truly need a printer, and we hope that you will be able to help us out.

My students would also benefit from having a Squishy Circuit group kit as well as dough kits.

These resources will allow my students to use their creativity and learn about electrical circuits. Squishy Circuits will make an impact in my students' learning.
