Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Within our diverse classroom, we are working to build a collaborative, cooperative 4th-grade ICT community. This project uses games, building blocks, and other materials to give our students the opportunity to learn how to work together as a team and practice socially supportive behavior toward their classmates.
Our students come from a mix of socioeconomic and racially diverse backgrounds and would greatly benefit from the opportunity to collaborate, use their imaginations, and be positive team members.
The experiences and skills they will gain through engaging with these games and toys will stick with them in the future.
