This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been working with other teachers on building thinking classrooms at Carson. Unfortunately my classroom has no space to put up whiteboards. These table top white boards will allow us to implement BTC in our classroom on a regular basis.

Watching them enjoy making their brain hurt, as they put it, is exciting.

The problems are challenging and they learn to be persistent and keep working until the problem is solved.

Sticking with difficult challenging problems is a life skill that many students struggle with. BTC is a fun way to help them practice this skill.
