I am requesting 5 Chromebook computers in the science classroom to improve their research projects. Many of my students do not have access to computers or the Internet at home so it is important that they get exposed to using it in the science classroom. I would like to use the computers when we do research projects to teach students how to make PowerPoints and slide shows for presentations instead of posters. They look more professional and it saves time and resources. It is important that my students have opportunities to prepare for their future. I showed a student how to make a slide show and his world opened up and I knew I gave him something valuable.
