This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I had the opportunity to be in a 1st grade classroom and I noticed letter formation and writing skills were something a lot of students were struggling with. Being a Prek teacher, I get the amazing opportunity to help students build a strong foundation in early writing skills to carry with them to kindergarten and up!

I believe with these items, I can create a fun, hands on learning center for my students to thrive in.

Giving the students a variety of tools to choose from can help achieve this.
