This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me build a brand new class library for my students! I am a brand new teacher with limited resources and appreciate all of the help I can get. On this DonorsChoose, I have added popular novels to create a good jumping off point for my classroom library.

One of my biggest goals as an educator is to instill a love for reading in my students!

It makes me so sad to hear that my students aren't interested in reading books anymore, and that they don't see how crucial it is to their education! By adding this classroom library, I am hoping to reinforce a positive association with reading and encourage them to find books that they enjoy!
