Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love watching my preschoolers learn and grow socially, emotionally, and physically. My students are unique because they are three years of age and love doing STEAM activities every Thursday. My pre-k team and I plan age-appropriate STEAM activities, for example, volcanoes, rain clouds, art, and computer time.
My preschoolers will benefit from these materials by developing language skills, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of STEM concepts.
I have chosen to focus on science, investigating bugs. My 3 yrs old are eager to expand their knowledge and look at the wonders of nature.
I have also included a printer to support our STEAM activities. The printer will allow me to print pictures of the students engaged in their STEAM projects. My students love seeing their images posted in my classroom. The items for my project will optimize learning by investigating nature through play and visual props.
