The kids at my school come to school each and every day energized and ready to learn. We are located in the great state of Nebraska. Our school is not a Title I school, so funding for extra supplies is not in the budget. There are students with family serving in the military, students who are English Language Learners, and many more. The students love science and we need bugs to explore and discover the world of insects! They need science materials so we can learn about bugs. Kindergarten is an important year of school for the children.
It is the first year they are working together as a team, so every child can succeed!
The students love the world outside the classroom door. They love nature and love bugs! We need insect specimens to deepen our observations of the world of insects. We need to magnifying glasses to look closer at the individual bugs. The insect specimens and magnifying glasses will allow the children to discover how the insects are the same and different. We will be able to compare and contrast the individual bugs, spiders, and scorpions. The students will look closely to see the intricate details of each bug and notice the different colors that are represented in each specimen that aren't always noticeable to the naked eye.
