My Students

I am lucky enough to teach third grade in the heart of Montana. Our school has a high percentage of families living in poverty. I can easily say that my students are some of the strongest people I have ever met. They come to school every day, eager to learn, regardless of what challenges they may be facing outside of school. Their focus and determination is something to be celebrated for sure. My students may not know it, but they are my inspiration!

My Project

Spring is the perfect time for my students to learn about the life cycles of different types of insects! What better way than to bring those insects into our classroom?! These insect "growing" kits will allow my students to watch the development of ants, butterflies, and ladybugs--each and every day!

When my students are curious and engaged, they are motivated to learn.

Providing my students with interesting, meaningful learning experiences is so important. However, the materials needed for these types of lessons are often expensive and they are not usually included with our traditional curriculum supplies. Your support will allow me to make sure that my students are able to learn in many different ways!
