This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The bulletin board paper and borders will be used to display my students' projects related to budgeting in order to learn about life skills. The markers will allow them to decorate their projects so they can present them to their classmates and teachers.

These materials will make a difference in their learning because it will provide a daily reminder of what it takes to be a saver and a wise shopper.

Students will beam with pride as their work will be showcased throughout the year.

My students are very special because they do not come from money, however they have the skills and the work ethic to get to a place in life where they can actually use these skills.
