Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergarten and 3rd Grade multilingual learners come from diverse cultures. Although they have limited English proficiency, they all come with prior knowledge and various experiences that make them unique.
Requested materials, such as sticky notes, various mentor books, and sentence strips will be used to implement an emergent writing toolkit for English language learners.
In addition, the laminating sheets will help protect our vocabulary and picture cards, so they can be used yearly.
The pocket chart stand and charts are essential tools in any classroom. We'll need them to display all learners' much needed sources of visual support.
