My Students
Remember being a young child and wanting to express yourself in so many different ways? My students are creative, and want to show everyone how talented they are!
I have a class of 28 motivated, creative students who work hard and strive to do their best.
We are in a Title 1 school in New York with many ELL learners. This class loves to complete projects using many different ways to show off their knowledge of a subject. Their favorite way is through art, and their artwork is amazing!
My Project
My students really need art supplies. They need basic supplies such as paint, paintbrushes, paper and collage materials. These materials will help bring their acquired learning to life such as by illustrating a story they wrote, or creating a math game to share with their classmates. The options are endless, but they just need the materials to start their journey.
This project is important because it will help the students see that learning can be done in many different ways.
They will understand that art has a big place in the world today and is an important part of our daily school curriculum. It will give them pride in their work, and smiles on their faces.
